What Is a Periodontist?
A periodontist is a specialist in the branch of dentistry that evaluates and treats conditions of the gums (gingiva) and the supporting structures in the mouth. If your gums (gingiva) are bleeding, or some of your teeth are loose, or treatment is needed to enhance your smile, you may need Dr. Samuel's expert care. If you have an interest in replacing missing teeth with Dental Implant supported restorations, Dr. Samuel can evaluate whether you are a candidate for the newest computer-guided implant procedures.

Your First Visit
At your first visit to our office, Dr. Samuel will discuss the reason for your visit, review your medical background, perform a thorough examination, and discuss his findings and recommendations. A detailed explanation of your condition is important because you are a key partner in the success of your treatment. A triad partnership of your general dentist, Dr. Samuel and YOU play an important role in the success of your dental health. Most of our patients contact our office either because their general dentist has referred them to us or because a relative or friend has received excellent care from Dr. Samuel, but you do not need a referral to schedule a consultation.
